About

Hello & Welcome

Hi there, thanks for visiting. My name is Zaneta Vrankova & Welcome to Adventurous Journey, a blog dedicated to travel, personal growth and positive attitude towards life. The main purpose of this blog is inspiration, because amazing things happen if we are brave enough to dare.

Life is a journey. So, why not to take an adventurous one? Isn’t an unknown, unpredictable, twisted path more exciting? From my experience I can say Yessss of course it is. 🙂 It has broadened my horizons, gave me strength, pride, sense of accomplishment, great memories, confidence and desire to do more. Let’s welcome an adventure with smile and open arms.

This blog is about:

  • Traveling, especially exploring New Zealand. You will find here stories, pictures, videos, things to experience, places to visit and much more

  • Personal growth – working daily on yourself pays off! We will either pay the price for discipline or regrets. There is nothing between. Period.

  • and for me – it serves as a record of my experiences

I am a lifestyle designer, life coach, student of life and travel addict. I was born and raised in beautiful Czech Republic but destiny has brought me to New Zealand to discover my other self. I am curious, love diversity and challenges. The purpose of my life is not to be emotionally attached to things, but to explore, understand, help and perhaps inspire.

I believe without dreams, self-improvement and venturing out of our comfort zone, life could become dull or even empty. Goals are powerful and accomplishments priceless. So, my message is: write down your goals, stick with them and celebrate your achievements.

Believe in yourself and don’t be put off by “mockers”. They enjoy putting other people down as they are too lazy to do something else. So, learn to handle them and don’t be discouraged by them. I know it is draining; I experienced it for myself but luckily managed to set myself free. 🙂

So, in case you were wondering, this is how it all began…

I was always fascinated by people who were passionate about what they did; their drive, excitement, belief, desire, positive attitudes… I was inspired by them and longed to become like them but I was living in the “follow the pattern” environment. “Follow the pattern” I refer to things that my family did repeatedly even though it didn’t make them happy. They would tell me that we were not destined to be successful….. 🙁

You can read more about my experience that completely shaped my life Breaking the pattern. There is no reason to settle for less, we all can become who we chose to become.

I’m happy that I set myself free from those who put me down, deprived me and mocked at my dreams since I was a kid. They probably did not know any better, so I don’t blame them. The additional challenges taught me to appreciate little things, to test my commitment and show me that there is a bright side of every story. Now I know that thanks to the obstacles, I became stronger, kept striving for more, learned to be motivated and kept going even when things were not going as planned. I had extra reason to carry on which enriched my horizons and preparing me for life.

This blog is about inspiration and finding positives, because by doing so you will impress yourself and surprise the narrow minded people. I’ve forgiven them and moved on. 🙂

We have a choice. We either trust our instinct/inner voice/ guts or negative thinking people. We either take their “no making sense messages” as a fact or some kind of motivational strategy that pushes us further. There is noting heroic to come up with numerous excuses to tell people and yourself why you didn’t do this or that.

One more thing to say… In all fairness I need to say that the “You cannot do it tribe” are no longer laughing at my dreams. Am I deaf around them or are they speechless around me? I don’t know. I guess what I did with the time really mattered as I didn’t sit in the corner feeling sorry for myself or blamed others. I just kept going, because I knew if I didn’t I would have regrets. Now I have evidence/history to prove that I was damn serious about my goals and the funny thing is that now when I no longer need recognition I’m getting it. Listening to inner voice makes us winners.

Why would I want to share my personal stories to the world? I genuinely believe that someone can benefit from my experiences and hopefully make faster progress.
